Entry and exit gates at all Delhi metro stations reopened, interchange facilities restored: DMRC
India, Oct. 10 -- All entry and exit gates at Delhi Metro stations have been reopened, restoring access for commuters across the network. Passengers can now enter and leave stations as usual, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said on Saturday.
The DMRC in a post on X, also confirmed that interchange facilities at all the affected stations are available, allowing commuters to switch between metro lines without disruption.
This comes after DMRC announced that entry and exit gates at 45 metro stations, including Rajiv Chowk, New Delhi, Central Secretariat, Patel Chowk and Kashmere Gate, will remain closed from 9 pm on Friday, October 9, until further notice due to the protest.
