India, Aug. 14 -- The elections for Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) office-bearers and members of the Central Council for the 2026-27 session will be held on September 18, DU announced on Thursday.

The university has set September 10 as the deadline for submitting nomination papers to chief election officer Professor Raj Kishore Sharma, department of chemistry. Those contesting for the Central Council seats must submit them to their respective colleges or departments, DU stated.

The final list of candidates will be published on September 11, and vote counting will take place on September 19, with results expected the same day.
