New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- As the race for the play-offs in the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 heats up, East Delhi Riders defeated Outer Delhi Warriors by seven wickets in what proved to be an easy chase at the Arun Jaitley Stadium here on Friday. Although the target seemed manageable for East Delhi, they did not get off to the best start, losing both the openers Sujal Singh and Hardik Sharma early. They scored 13 each. Kavya Gupta and Yashwardhan Oberai stitched a 38-run partnership to steady the ship. After Oberai's dismissal, Vaibhav Baisla combined with Kavya to guide the team through, completing the chase with 136/3 in merely 15.5 overs.
