India, Sept. 4 -- The Delhi Traffic Police on Friday issued an advisory for September 5 owing to the motorcade rehearsal from 10 am to 4 pm before the upcoming BRICS summit in the Capital.

The police said traffic diversions and regulations in movement would be in place along key routes in Delhi, including Sardar Patel Marg, Janpath, Barakhamba Road, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg and others.

The two-day BRICS summit is scheduled to take place in Delhi on September 12 and September 13 at the Bharat Mandapam.

The traffic police urged commuters to plan journeys in advance, allow extra travel time, use public transport - especially metro - and follow the designation diversion routes as well as instructions from traffic personnel. "Emergency and ...
