Delhi govt to hire consultancy for Maulana Azad Medical College redevelopment
India, Oct. 7 -- The Delhi government's Public Works Department (PWD) will hire a consultancy for a 30-year redevelopment plan for the Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) campus and its associated hospital complexes. The proposed plan envisages new construction, demolition or strengthening of ageing structures and an integrated network of roads and services, officials said on Wednesday.
The redevelopment plan will cover MAMC, Lok Nayak Hospital, GB Pant Hospital, Guru Nanak Eye Centre and Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences.
