New Delhi, Sept. 18 -- The Delhi government has initiated the process of preparing the budget estimates for 2027-28 and revised estimates for the current financial year, with the finance department directing all departments to submit their proposals by October 12. In a circular issued, the finance department directed all other departments to furnish the estimates in the prescribed formats, in accordance with the General Financial Rules, 2017, and said budget proposals should be examined by the respective integrated financial advisor to ensure correctness of accounting classification.
