New Delhi, June 26 -- The Delhi government has approved repair, upgradation and development of new facilities at 75 CM SHRI Schools, according to a statement issued by the chief minister's office on Thursday. According to the statement, the expenditure finance committee, led by CM Rekha Gupta, approved a proposal of about Rs.265 crore for the project. CM SHRI Schools are premium, state-of-the-art public schools, modelled under the Centre's PM SHRI scheme, to improve the quality of education and infrastructure. Gupta said that as part of the upgradation, school entrance gates will be redesigned to display the new CM SHRI logo.
