Delhi gets cold after surprise strong storm, rain; Indore unusually cool for June: Weather wrap
India, June 5 -- While a sudden spell of intense storm and rain caused temperatures in parts of Delhi to sharply drop by as much as 19 degrees Celsius, southwest monsoon entered India via Kerala on Thursday, bringing heavy downpour for the state and its adjoining regions.
After monsoon's arrival in India on Thursday, the India Meteorological Department said conditions are likely to become favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into some more parts of central Arabian Sea, some more parts of Maharashtra, entire Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, some parts of Telangana, some more parts of Andhra Pradesh, entire South Bay of Bengal, some more parts of Westcentral, Eastcentral and some more parts of North Bay of Bengal and entire Northea...
