Dehradun, Oct. 6 -- Former chief minister and senior state Congress leader Harish Rawat's "Dhanyawad and Jansanwad Yatra" entered its Kumaon leg on Monday, despite objections by party's state-in-charge Kumari Selja, who earlier wrote to Rawat advising against staging the yatra in view of upcoming assembly elections in the state and the "need to present a united party front". The development comes as the party is preparing to take its election campaign up a notch as the time for voting nears.
