India, Aug. 23 -- The daughter of NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar's personal assistant was reportedly found dead in Baramati in Maharashtra's Pune district on Sunday, officials said.

Police said an investigation was underway and the case was being examined from all angles, news agency PTI reported. The deceased was the daughter of Pawar's personal assistant, Ajit Dashavatare, officials were quoted as saying by the news agency.

The girl reportedly had a minor argument with her mother over an issue before leaving home in anger on Saturday, PTI reported citing sources. When she failed to return, her family approached the police and filed a complaint.
