LUCKNOW, March 1 -- The police have filed a charge sheet against a former resident doctor of King George's Medical University in connection with the alleged sexual exploitation and forced religious conversion of a female doctor. The accused, Dr Ramizuddin Naik alias Ramiz Malik, who was arrested on January 9, has been charged with rape, criminal intimidation and forcing religious conversion under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with Sections 3 and 5 of the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021.
