New Delhi, April 4 -- The Delhi government has constituted a dedicated special internal cell for coordination among various agencies for road cutting permissions following directions from the High-Level Committee on Yamuna Rejuvenation, officials said Friday.
The 20-member cell, to be headed by the member secretary of the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) will submit draft compliance reports, coordinate issues among concerned departments, and facilitate information exchange.
Permissions related to restoration of streets in unauthorised colonies and villages will also be handled by the cell, officials added. Saloni Bhatia
