CBI files another charge sheet in RCom case
New Delhi, July 18 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday said it filed the second charge sheet in the Reliance Communications Limited (RCom) case against three accused-Netizen Engineering Pvt.Ltd (formerly Reliance Infocomm Engineering Pvt.Ltd), and its two directors, Anil Kalya and Tunu Sahu.
The accused face charges of criminal conspiracy, criminal misappropriation and cheating, the agency said in a statement.
Investigations found that Netizen Engineering Pvt. Ltd was used by RCom "as a pass-through entity for the wilful diversion of funds, thereby causing wrongful loss to the lending banks and corresponding wrongful gain to the accused persons and related entities", the statement said.
