India, April 7 -- An IndiGo aircraft suffered minor damage after a catering truck hit the engine at the Kolkata airport on Tuesday, HT has learnt.
The incident occurred when the aircraft was parked on the tarmac at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. It resulted in a minor damage to the aircraft.
The airline is yet to issue a statement.
The latest incident comes roughly two months after a New York-bound Air India aircraft's engine was damage after sucking in a container upon return to Delhi.
The incident occurred in January, where the aircraft while taxiing to apron ingested a cargo container causing substantial damage to engine.
