Meerut, Sept. 16 -- A 36-year-old woman and her 40-year-old husband were found dead at two separate locations, around 1.5 km apart in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district on Tuesday, with their bodies tied to trees in unusual circumstances, a police officer said. The couple, residents of Jalalpur Kazi village under Bijnor Kotwali police station, had gone to collect wood on Monday, additional superintendent of police (ASP) Krishna Gopal Singh said. Singh said when they did not return, family members alerted the police. On Tuesday, their bodies were found tied to trees 1.5 km apart, the ASP said, adding that the probe is on.
