Bodies of two indian seafarers brought to their native towns
Dharamshala/Gorakhpur, June 18 -- Bodies of two Indian seafarers - Aditya Sharma and Shivanand Chaurasiya - reached Hamirpur and Deoria respectively on Wednesday after being repatriated from Oman, local officials confirmed.
Earlier, Indian embassy in Muscat said on X, "The mortal remains of Mr Aditya Sharma and Mr Shivanand Chaurasiya, who tragically lost their lives in the attack on MT Settebello, have been repatriated to India."
"Our heartfelt condolences remain with their families during this difficult time," the Indian mission said.
Aditya, 23, a resident of Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh and Shivanand, 38, of Uttar Pradesh's Deoria were among three Indian seafarers who were killed in a US strike on the Palau-flagged oil tanker MT Settebe...
