BJP Mla accused of torturing 3 on suspicion of theft
MEERUT, Oct. 11 -- Three young men were allegedly held captive and tortured for two days at the residence of BJP MLA Kunwar Sushant Singh in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad district over the suspected theft of gold jewellery belonging to the legislator's son, according to a complaint filed by one victim's mother on October 9.
The victims, Ramu Kashyap, Atul Kashyap and Lavish Kashyap, were allegedly tied up, hung upside down, beaten with belts and sticks, and given electric shocks. The complaint alleged that Ramu reportedly suffered serious injuries and was admitted to a private hospital in Kashipur, Uttarakhand.
