India, Aug. 22 -- Banks across India will remain closed on Saturday, August 22, 2026, as it is the fourth Saturday of the month. Under Reserve Bank of India (RBI) rules, banks remain shut on the second and fourth Saturdays, though digital banking and ATM services will continue to be available.
