India, Sept. 22 -- Bangladesh's foreign secretary Asad Alan Siam is set to be the new high commissioner in New Delhi, people familiar with the matter have told HT. This development comes after India cleared Agrement for the new envoy.

A copy of this Agrement has also been handed over in Dhaka.
