Bajrang Dal creates ruckus at Doon shop
Dehradun, May 18 -- A group of right-wing activists in Dehradun stormed into a footwear showroom and accused its Muslim staffers of discriminating against Hindu employees at the outlet, and wrote 'jihadi' on their name badges, a purported video of which has been widely circulated on social media.
Pramod Kumar, Dehradun superintendent of police, said, "The video has come to our notice, but no complaint has been received by us. If we receive any complaint, action will be taken accordingly."
The incident reportedly took place on Friday when members of the Bajrang Dal, led by its Uttarakhand state convenor Vikas Verma, entered a Metro Shoes showroom on Rajpur Road and created a ruckus.
