New Delhi, June 14 -- Australia coasted to a 65-run win over South Africa in their opening match of the Women's T20 World Cup in Manchester on Saturday.
Batting first Australia posted 172/8 in 20 overs riding a 24-ball 50 by Phoebe Litchfield and a 26-ball 36 by Ellyse Perry. In reply, South African batting did not really gather momentum and folded for 107 in 16.4 overs. Georgia Wareham was the top wicket-taker with 3/13 in her 2.4 overs.
