India, April 1 -- Actor Akshay Kumar made a serene visit to the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Wednesday morning to offer prayers ahead of the release of his upcoming film, Bhooth Bangla. He was accompanied by his mother-in-law, veteran actor Dimple Kapadia.

A video shared by ANI shows Akshay and Dimple offering prayers to Lord Shiva at the temple. Speaking to the media, Akshay said, "It was really good. I prayed for the entire country and my family. I prayed that our country may always excel and progress."
