New Delhi, May 22 -- An Air India flight from Bengaluru to Delhi made an emergency landing at Delhi airport on Thursday after the cockpit crew received a fire warning from one of the engines on final approach, the airline said. The aircraft landed safely and all passengers and crew disembarked normally while a full emergency had been declared.
Earlier in the day, an Air India aircraft suffered a tail strike while landing in Bengaluru.
All passengers were safe, officials said. The aircraft was grounded and the pilots de-rostered. Directorate General of Civil Aviation officials said that the incident is under investigation.P9
