India, Oct. 31 -- The Aam Aadmi Party released its first list of candidates for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, with chief minister Bhagwant Mann contesting from Dhuri.

AAP's list includes several incumbent MLAs who have been fielded from the assembly constituencies they already represent. This includes Mann, who won Dhuri in 2022 by a margin of over 58,000 votes.

Other such candidates include Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar, who has been fielded from Amritsar South, Harmeet Singh Sandhu from Tarn Taran, Balkar Singh from Kartarpur, Bram Shankar Sharma Jimpa from Hoshiarpur and Ashok Prashar Pappi from Ludhiana Central.
