AAP is B-team of BJP: COngress on defection of MPs
New Delhi, April 28 -- The Congress on Monday alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), whose seven Rajya Sabha lawmakers recently defected to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is a party of billionaires because it gave away the berths in the Upper House on the basis of money, ignoring loyalists. Claiming that the mask of the AAP and its national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, has come off, the Congress termed the party the "B-team of the BJP".
Congress treasurer Ajay Maken, a bitter critic of AAP, also slammed the BJP for taking in seven AAP MPs from Punjab, a state where it has 6% votes.
