Jaipur, July 31 -- Seven people who recently underwent cataract surgeries at the Government Eye Hospital in Kuchaman City were shifted to hospitals in Jaipur and Ajmer after they developed eye infections after the surgeries, officials said on Thursday, adding that they have sealed the operation theatre and ordered a probe into the matter. Doctors said the patients' condition deteriorated rapidly after the surgeries performed on Wednesday. Within nearly 24 hours, their eyes turned white due to a severe infection.
