Ahmedabad, Oct. 10 -- Seven workers were killed and over 20 others injured when a truck collided head-on with a pickup truck in Kutch district of Gujarat early on Friday, police said. Kutch West superintendent of Police Vikas Sunda said the collision occurred on the road from Ari Park checkpost towards the renewable energy park near Khavda village. "Two large vehicles, a trailer and a truck, in which labourers were travelling, met in a head-on collision. One vehicle overturned onto the other after losing balance," he said. The trapped labourers were rescued using a crane. Kutch Collector Anil Ranavasiya said around 30-32 labourers were travelling in the pickup van.
