Karnal, June 21 -- Three police officers were suspended for allegedly sexually assaulting a bone cancer patient inside a police station in Haryana's Kurukshetra district, police said on Saturday. Superintendent of police Chander Mohan said the suspension of ASIs Sanjeev Kumar and Rajendra Kumar, and Home Guard Sumit Kumar in Ladwa sub-division of the district was ordered on Friday. An FIR was also being registered against them, the SP said. Police said the victim, in his 20s, alleged that on the night of June 17 he was stopped at a police nakka and was then forcibly taken to Ladwa police station and his motorcycle was also impounded.
