NEW DELHI, Aug. 23 -- A 26-year-old man serving in the Indian Army died, allegedly by suicide, in a hotel room in south Delhi on Saturday, police said.
Police identified the deceased as a resident of Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, who was posted in Hisar. Police said a PCR call was made at around 12.19 pm from the hotel in Satya Niketan. A police team reached the hotel and found the man dead inside the room. He had checked into the hotel on August 19, police said.
A suicide note was recovered from the room, police said, adding that no allegations were made against anyone in the note.
Proceedings under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) are underway, and further probe is on, police said.htc
