India, Aug. 22 -- Two men allegedly robbed jewellery worth over Rs.2 crore from a jeweller's SUV after smashing the rear window, fleeing with three bags and a suitcase in Karol Bagh on Wednesday, police said on Thursday.

Police have detained three people for questioning in connection with the case.

Police said the jeweller, Kanhaiya Lal, came to Delhi on August 18 with his son, Dhruv Soni, and a staff member on a business trip and stayed at a hotel in south Delhi.

On August 19, Lal met several jewellers at the Greater Kailash M Block market before heading to Karol Bagh for another business-related visit, said police.
