Ahmedabad, June 19 -- A 17-year-old student, who was supposed to take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-UG (NEET-UG) re-exam on June 21, allegedly died by suicide in Ahmedabad, police said on Thursday. According to police, the incident took place in the early hours in New Ranip area when the society's security guard spotted the boy lying in the common area and alerted residents. "The police control room received information at 2.52 am, following which our team reached the spot," said Sabarmati police inspector YR Vaghela. No suicide note was found at the site, he added.
