'TN looking at NDA with hope for change'
CHENNAI, April 14 -- The people of Tamil Nadu are looking at the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) with hope for a change and are ready to punish the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) for its misgovernance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday and commended the party's state unit cadre for its hard work during the campaign for the April 23 elections.
During a virtual interaction with booth-level Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers of the Tamil Nadu unit, as part of the "Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot" programme, he said, "People are looking at the BJP-NDA with hopes for a change."
He further accused the DMK-led Tamil Nadu government of making "corruption part of the system".
