'India has no plans to raise pump costs of petrol, diesel'
New Delhi, March 10 -- India has no immediate plan to raise pump prices of petrol and diesel, government officials said even as international oil prices surged to over $100 a barrel on Monday as the war between the US and Israel on one side, and Iran on the other continued, breaching the barrier for the first time since August 2022.
Separately, the finance minister said in Parliament that the impact on inflation is not expected to be "substantial" at this point.
