India, Aug. 12 -- Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday raised doubts over the dismissal of criminal charges against industrialist Gautam Adani by a US court and launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the development.

In a post on X, the Congress leader said, "There is much more to this than meets the eye. A compromised PM was forced to sell India's interests. India is paying a huge price."

Rahul Gandhi's remarks came after a US court on Monday ended the long-running legal saga involving Gautam Adani, Sagar Adani and their associate Vneet Jaain by dismissing the criminal charges against them at the request of the US government.
