India, March 22 -- We had earlier reported that actor Karthi will be starring in director Tamizh's upcoming directorial Marshal. The film's production is underway, with the director revealing the release plans for the coast-based drama, at a recent awards function.

Marshal is an upcoming Tamil film starring Karthi in the lead role. The film is written and directed by filmmaker Tamizh who has previously made cop drama Taanakkaran. He had also written the critically acclaimed film Sirai.
