Kathmandu, June 20 -- Subash Tamang won the title of the Surya Nepal Premier Golf Championship, the eighth and final event under Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2025-26, at the par-72 Gokarna Golf Club on Friday.

Tamang defeated Bhuvan Nagarkoti and amateur Sadbhav Acharya in the first playoff hole. The winner was decided on sudden death after three players were tied at 18-under 270 after 72 holes. Tamang won the trophy with a par on the 10th hole after both Nagarkoti and Acharya missed their par putts.

Tamang, who started the day one stroke ahead of Nagarkoti, carded 3-under 69 in the final round for 18-under 270 total. Nagarkoti carded 4-under 68, while Acharya fired a bogey-free 6-under 66 to force a playoff.
