Kathmandu, March 26 -- The standoff between the National Sports Council and the All Nepal Football Association came to a head on Wednesday as the governing body of Nepali sports suspended the football governing body for three months, citing the latter's clarification as unsatisfactory.
The suspension has been imposed under Section 29(2) of the Sports Development Act, NSC wrote to ANFA. The suspension means the NSC will not support and recognise the tournaments held by ANFA.
