India, Oct. 21 -- Volvo Cars is expanding its partnership with NVIDIA to unlock new levels of safety in automated driving technology in future cars from Volvo, building on the companies' decade-long collaboration.

Guided by Volvo Cars' pioneering safety knowledge and powered by the NVIDIA Hyperion sensor and compute architecture, the technology will enable future Volvo cars to safely navigate complex real-world environments from door to door. This includes everything from highways and busy urban streets to parking scenarios.

The technology will make its debut in a next-generation Volvo car as part of the company's recently announced largest-ever product push.
