India, Oct. 6 -- Fewer than one in four organisations involve IT or audiovisual (AV) teams before space planning begins, according to The Workplace Equation 2026, a study of 1,700 workplace experience decision-makers across 11 markets, including India. The finding points to a familiar problem: technology is often expected to work inside rooms whose design was decided before the technology was considered.

That gap is becoming harder to ignore as offices are redesigned around hybrid work, higher workplace utilisation and more varied patterns of collaboration.
