India, Sept. 25 -- Thailand has approved its first national semiconductor and advanced electronics strategy, targeting approximately $80 billion in cumulative investment, $150 billion in annual industry revenue, and more than 230,000 new jobs by 2050.

The three-phase roadmap aims to build a complete domestic semiconductor supply chain, prioritizing photonics, power semiconductors and sensors under the "Made in Thailand" chip initiative. It is backed by investment incentives, workforce development, R&D infrastructure and regulatory reform.
