India, April 15 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday inaugurated India's first open-access Amaravati Quantum Reference Facility (AQRF), calling it a key milestone in the country's deep-tech journey. More importantly, the move signals the state's intent to go beyond pilot projects and build a wider ecosystem around quantum computing and next-generation technologies.
At the centre of this push is a clear strategy: use quantum computing as a starting point and expand into a cluster of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, drones, space technologies, and green hydrogen.
