India, Sept. 15 -- For years, the cloud narrative was largely about location - where applications ran, where data was stored and whether that data stayed within national borders. That definition is now beginning to look incomplete.
As AI becomes embedded into enterprise systems, sovereignty is expanding into a much harder question of control. Who can access the environment? Who holds the encryption keys? Where do AI models run? Who governs inference and model behaviour? And can an enterprise move its workloads without becoming dependent on a single technology provider?
