India, July 26 -- Manufacturers are moving beyond isolated artificial intelligence (AI) pilots and preparing for enterprise-wide deployment of physical AI, according to the Future-Ready Manufacturing: TCS Physical AI Readiness Report 2026 released by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The study found that no surveyed manufacturer plans to reduce investments in physical AI, while 26% intend to increase spending, signalling growing confidence in AI-powered industrial automation.
