India, June 23 -- On 31 March 2026, thousands of Oracle employees across the US, India, Canada and other global offices reportedly woke up to a 6 AM termination email. The emails, sent by "Oracle Leadership" and obtained by Business Insider, reportedly read: "After careful consideration of Oracle's current business needs, we have made the decision to eliminate your role as part of a broader organisational change. As a result, today is your last working day."
