India, May 12 -- OpenAI has launched the OpenAI Deployment Company, also referred to as DeployCo, a new business unit designed to help enterprises build and operationalise AI systems inside real-world production environments.

Announcing the launch on X, OpenAI said:

"Today we're launching the OpenAI Deployment Company to help businesses build and deploy AI.

It's majority-owned and controlled by OpenAI. It brings together 19 leading investment firms, consultancies, and system integrators to help organisations deploy frontier AI to production for business impact."
