India, Sept. 17 -- In a major milestone for MediaTek, the company has officially unveiled its next-generation flagship processor, the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro. Fabricated using TSMC's advanced 2nm process, the new system-on-chip marks MediaTek's entry into the first wave of 2nm mobile semiconductor designs.

The launch intensifies competition with Qualcomm and Apple in the premium mobile processor market. MediaTek is focusing on power efficiency, neural processing, graphics, and memory bandwidth as semiconductor companies prepare chips for more demanding on-device AI workloads.
