Maharashtra investment MoUs put Rs 4.15 lakh crore into data centres, IT and semiconductors
India, Oct. 4 -- Maharashtra has signed 67 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) involving proposed investments of Rs 8.57 lakh crore, with data centres, information technology (IT), IT-enabled services (ITeS), and semiconductors accounting for Rs 4,15,490 crore of the total pipeline. The agreements were announced at the launch of the state government's Invest Maharashtra initiative on October 1, 2026.
The investment proposals support Maharashtra's ambition to become a USD 1 trillion economy by 2030.
