India, April 24 -- At Masters' Union's Next Tech 1.0 summit, one idea cut through the noise: artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a software story. It is an infrastructure story, and India is still early in building it.

When Vishal Dhupar, managing director, South Asia, at NVIDIA, took the stage, he did not speak like a technology vendor. He spoke like someone who has watched multiple computing cycles unfold and is now witnessing the most consequential one.

"We've moved from retrieving information to manufacturing intelligence. And that factory is AI," he said.
