India, June 23 -- All previous AI assistants had one common hurdle: users had to keep prompting them. OpenAI's ChatGPT Scheduled Tasks feature changes that equation by allowing ChatGPT to run certain tasks automatically, without waiting for a fresh instruction every time.
OpenAI says Scheduled Tasks in ChatGPT allow users to create one-off, recurring and monitoring tasks. These can run at a scheduled time, or within broader windows such as morning, afternoon or evening. Monitoring tasks can also check for changes and notify users only when there is something meaningful to report.
