India, March 11 -- Honeywell signs an agreement with Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) to establish a Centre of Excellence at the institute's Powai campus to train more than 1,00,000 students in sustainability-related fields by 2030, the company said.
The centre, called the IIT Bombay-Honeywell Centre of Excellence for Future Skills and Innovation, will be funded by the Honeywell Hometown Solutions India Foundation.
According to Honeywell, the centre will provide laboratory infrastructure, equipment, curriculum development and research grants focused on sustainability education and applied research.
